Welcome! Student Success

Welcome to the Student Success Guide!

The Library is a great place for research and studying, but we're about a lot more than academics. The transition to college is a big adjustment, and it's normal for students to find themselves facing lots of challenges, both academic and personal. Your Library can connect you with resources and information to help you succeed and to be your very best. In this guide, you'll find resources on both academic and personal topics, including:

  • Learning study skills
  • Managing stress and text anxiety
  • Developing critical thinking skills
  • Creating great presentations
  • Building financial literacy skills
  • Writing and citing skills
  • Building your résumé and cover letter
  • Dealing with challenging topics, including self-esteem, mental and emotional well-being, and stress

Loyalist College provides a range of excellent services for students in a variety of different areas. You'll find links to those services throughout this guide; just look for Services @ Loyalist.
