LGBTQ2+ individuals can face an increased risk of violence and discrimination within their homes and their communities during isolation and lockdown. Below is a list of resources to consult if you or someone you know is struggling.
Crisis Intervention Centre, Quinte Health Care : Belleville General Hospital 1-888-757-7766
The Crisis Intervention Centre is a community mental health program located at Belleville General Hospital. The team of social workers and psychiatric nurses are ready to respond to crisis calls and offer emergency mental health intervention in the form of assessments, referrals, short-term crisis resolution or simply information. There is no cost for services. For more information, please contact the Crisis Intervention Centre at (613) 969-7400, Ext. 2753 or 969-5511, Ext. 2753. You can also call toll free at 1-888-757-7766. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Telephone response by a crisis worker is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Good2Talk is a free, completely confidential and anonymous help line for colleges and universities in Ontario. It is available 24/7 in English and French. Students can talk to a professional counselor to receive immediate telephone counseling support and referral for face-to-face support in their school or local community.

Open Line, Open Mind offers information, support and referral to mental health and addiction services in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. Services are free, private and confidential for adults aged 16+ and are available 24/7.

Canada's only 24/7, national support service. We offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based. Kids Help Phone has expanded its mandate to include former youth in care of any age.
