A group of people march in front of a red brick building with a large clock tower. They are smiling and waving rainbow flags.

All spaces on the Loyalist College campus are positive space and everyone is welcome.

A sign with a rainbow triangle. The sign reads,

What does LGBTQ2+ mean?

LGBTQ2+ is an abbreviation that stands for: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning), and two-spirited. The plus-sign signifies a number of other identities, and is included to keep the abbreviation brief when written out; the full abbreviation is LGBTTTQQIAA. You can learn more at OK2BEME. This excellent site provides more information on what LGBTQ2+ means, and explanations of all the identities included in it.
